Celebrate the Ginkgo Gold with a $100 Ginkgo Tree Sponsorship

Join the Oñates in generously sponsoring a ginkgo tree! Devoted supporters of the State Arboretum at Blandy Experimental Farm, the Oñates selected a tree that was special to them and now it’s tagged with their name and is marked on Blandy’s website — a wonderful tribute to their family and a thoughtful gift to Blandy. For $100, you too can sponsor a ginkgo tree at the State Arboretum of Virginia! Your sponsorship spans five years.

Your selected tree will be tagged with your name and the year your sponsorship began. Your gift supports Arboretum collection care and other environmental programs at Blandy Experimental Farm. Thank you!

This year, during Ginkgo Gold weekends of October 26th and 27th and November 2nd and 3rd, the Foundation of the Sate Arboretum of Virginia will have volunteers in the Ginkgo Grove offering Sponsor a Ginkgo Tree on the spot.  You will be able to pick a tree, claim it with a temporary tag, and take your own family photo by your very own sponsored tree. A few weeks later, after a more permanent metal tag is added to your tree,  you will be able to look up your named tree with our online Tree Finder tool and share it with others any time of year. The $100 ginkgo tree sponsorships are valid for five years.
